Same issue here. It does not auto update anymore and I always have to put in my city/state for it to work. I think my problems started when I did service pack 2 for Vista. I did try this same gadget under the Vista sidebar and it worked fine but it was a newer version, 1.1 I think.

Worked great when I first installed it, now its not updating.. It says its 81F, and its 10 pm and night, now I will select options and then ok to get it to update.. ok there we go, now temp says 73.. Used to update great, now I dont know what the problem is.. I saw someone else here had the exact same issue..

For some reason, the bug is saying it is giving me the weather for Blain MS. But the weather information is correct for Vancouver, BC.

Great app for local weather from the local airport. Since it is from a airport its reliable. All of its tellings have come true. I love it. I might even set up my own backyard weather station because of this. Great work.

This gadget is a peice of garbage it does not work. After selecting the city and country ( Burlington,Canada) I then had to select a weather station which ranged from Gander to Deer Lake nothing close to Burlington. This is a peice of junk

I love this gadget but for some reason it stopped working. It will not load anymore. Really upsets me. Can someone tell me what happened to it and can It be fixed?

It does not have an auto refresh utility. So you need to keep changing the options to get the update. And it also should have an option of adding more than 1 fixed city for the display. I believe we should be able to cycle between cities like other tools provide.

I like the gadget but it keeps changing its location to Amsterdam while I selected Utrecht/De Bilt. This problem should be addressed.

2009.04.09 - I like this gadget but it needs an urgent update, as several users noted before: - upon reboot it looses the location (needs a Save option) - Also looses view format when reboots (I use the condensed version and it grows to the larger one after reboot) - A Refresh button is also needed (I use in the laptop which is not always connected to the net) - It defaults to F after reboot (we use Celsius in Europe) But still: + great looks, though would prefer a smaller bug + good interface + astonishing number of features (weather map and photo, webcam, forecast) Using version 1.0.0.1, 2006. It deserves an update! :-)

I really like this gadget. I set it to a camera that is 2.2 miles from my house. To get it to update, I just hit options and then OK. After I update the first time after turning on my computer, it will automatically update. Great job. Wonderfully handy gadget!

Have to reset city every time computer is switched on.
